She home instructed her little girl Miai Leonie Phillip until she was 11. Both, Lisa and Miai experience the ill effects of Sickle Cell Anemia and are ministers for The Sickle Cell Society, the Afro Caribbean Leukemia Trust (ACLT), and NHS Blood and Transplant.
